It’s a brave girl who can get through the entire festival without makeup, and I salute her. I however, wouldn’t be caught dead. If you are of the same mindset, I suggest the following items:
1. Korres party survival kit (contains bottles small enough to last the weekend, 3 in 1 cleanser, radiance boosting moisturiser, lemon chewing gum, dark circle diminishing eyecream, guava body butter and shower gel -smells super fresh, lasts longer than perfume and is cheaper). £15 isn’t bad for the full weekends skin and body care regime. Plus your skin will need all the help it can get with being outdoors in unpredictible weather, the alcohol dehydration and junk food.
2. Bare Escentuals foundation, this is fab as it has a ‘physical barrier’ spf basically meaning you don’t have to keep applying greasy spf and you will look fabulous. If you aren’t already using bare escentuals make up, shame on you! It’s so pure you can sleep in it! No chemicals, no artificial colours, no preservatives, I could go on. Hell, you might end up coming back from the festival looking better than you did before!
3. Korres lip butter-Korres Lip Butter gives lips a lovely, shiny finish and offers a natural flush when applied to the apples of the cheeks. Its shea-butter infusion conditions and heals lips and provides a softening touch to the skin
4. Blinc mascara. Don’t paint your lashes.. That’s just asking for trouble at a festival.. Tube them! This mascara has always came out tops when put under the toughest tests for rubbing, water, oil, grease. I honestly think you would only need to apply this once the whole weekend, it is simply fantastic. It forms glossy tubes around the lashes that plain stay put! It was the envy of my friends at t in the park, I don’t do panda eyes!!
5. Other things that might be handy, mitchum deoderant (it’s the strongest on the market, lasts 48 hours), Body wipes, hand santiser (warning.. festival toilets traumatic), BIG sunglasses (hide a multitude of sins). Work that festival hair (try plaits, hairbands, scarfs and a hat). Apply fake tan a couple of days before you too!
